History/Overview: Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College was founded in 1992. Originally started as a medical college in collaboration with the hospital, Mohammad Ali Bogra. In 2006 a new hospital campus and the university built on the outskirts of the city of Bogra, Rangpur-Dhaka highway in addition, the name on the basis of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, who was born in Bogra. About 140 students admitted each year after the passing of the test medical government approval. The campus is more beautiful than any other government medical campus in Bangladesh.
