History/Overview: International Medical College & Hospital was established in 2000 with all procedural formalities and approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Inspector of Schools and his team at the University of Dhaka inspected the university and the hospital several times and allowed 20 students from the session 1999-2000 to admit. 2001-2002 in the session number was increased to 30. The number was increased from 30 to 50 in the 2002-2003 session. In the session of 2005-2006, again increased to 70 and the session 2006-2007 the number of students allowed for admission is 75. Now is increased to 100 + on admission sesiion 2012-2013 (IMC-13 batch).
